Attire

Many of you have asked us what to wear to the wedding. For the ladies, we would advise against heels. The ceremony will be in a field, and the reception will be under a tent that sits atop another small field. Wedges, flats, and sandals will all work, but heels would sink into the soil.

Otherwise, "business casual"attire is probably appropriate. The wedding and reception are at a campground, after all!

The ceremony will be short--15-30 minutes--but some of you may want sunscreen or a hat to protect you from the sun.

Please let us know if you have any questions about attire.

We're Getting Married!

Greetings Friends and Family,

This letter is to encourage you to join us for our wedding celebration on July 30, 2011. We will be wed at  the Freeport KOA campground in Durham, ME with a reception to follow. We are hoping that many of you will join us in camping at the KOA or stay at a nearby hotel so you may join us in our weekend festivities.

We have reserved a cabin for ourselves, and there are a few cabins as well as many tenting sites available. The cabins accommodate 4-6 people, so we encourage you to book a cabin along with some friends. The accommodations at the KOA are sure to fill up fast, so be sure to make reservations as soon as possible!

When you call to make reservations at the KOA, please tell Bob & Christine (the owners) that you will be attending the Paradis/Genre wedding, and they will be sure to put you in the right place.  Otherwise, we have not made any block reservations at nearby hotels.

Let us know if you have any questions/concerns. We look forward to celebrating with you in July!

Love and Thanks,
Shana and Leon
